American-born Rabbi Eliezer Parkoff received his Talmudic training and Rabbinic semicha from the world-renowned Gaon HaRav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg, zt"l, Rosh Yeshivas Torah Ore, Jerusalem. In addition he studied Mussar under the Mashgiach HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav Zeidel Epstein, zt”l.
For close to 40 years Rabbi Parkoff was a Rosh Yeshiva of American bochurim in Jerusalem in Yeshiva Shaare Chaim, and then in Yeshiva Medrash Chaim. In addition to providing a high level shiurim, he strove to ensure that his students were adequately prepared to meet the challenges facing contemporary youth.
Rabbi Parkoff’s acclaimed shiurim in Gemara, Halachah, Hashkafah and Mussar have helped develop a generation of young scholars, teachers, and bnei Torah, imbued with a deep sense of commitment to Torah Judaism.
Rabbi Parkoff presently is a member of an advanced level Kollel in the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, as well as writing teshuvos in halacha and hashgafa articles. Rabbi Parkoff is author of "Chizuk!” and "Trust Me!” (Feldheim Publishers), and "Mission Possible!” (Israel Book Shop - Lakewood).
